Classes and Groups

The Academy is open to all age groups.

The organization of the Academy and the groups is the responsibility of the Grow Tennis Academy, with students distributed in homogeneous groups, both in terms of age group and technical level.

If the student is a minor and, therefore, the enrollment is completed by whoever has parental authority over him, adherence to these conditions determines the declaration (i) that the student in question does not need special assistance, nor care different from the other students, being able to attend the contracted classes in the same regime as any other enrolled in the same, as well as (ii) that he does not suffer from a clinical condition that requires any regular treatment, since the Grow Tennis Academy does not have personnel with training for the care that special clinical and / or pathological situations require.

The contracted price is valid for the period from September 1st of the contracting year to August 31st of the following year.

Conditions and Payment Methods

Subscriptions can be made for periods of 1 month (Monthly), 3 months (Quarterly), or 12 months (Annually), automatically renewable for identical periods.

A monthly period is understood to be the time between the 1st and the last day of each month, as a quarterly period, the set of 3 months counting between the first day of the month of enrollment and the last day of the 3rd month following that of enrollment, and the annual period is the time between the first day of the month of enrollment and the last day of the 12th month following the month of enrollment. If enrollment takes place in the middle of the month, on a day other than the 1st, the period begins on the 1st of the month of enrollment and the first monthly fee is adjusted to the number of classes comprised between the enrollment day and the last day of the month .

Payment periods:
Regardless of the contracted period, payment can be made monthly, with the first payment made upon enrollment and the following payments by the 8th of each month;

Payment can be made quarterly or annually, the first payment being made at the time of enrollment and the following payments by the 8th of the month of renewal;

Due to the commitment to prepare and plan classes by the Grow Tennis Academy team of teachers, regardless of the enrollment plan made, the cancellation of enrollment must be communicated by the last day of the month that the student will attend, respecting the plan period chosen at the time of enrollment.

The student's absence from classes does not exempt him from paying, unless his withdrawal or temporary interruption to the Grow Tennis Academy has been reported in advance, within the conditions of the contracted plan.
Failure to pay tuition on time may prevent participation in classes.

The academy is open 12 months a year, from Monday to Saturday from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm.

Classes are interrupted on national holidays and on Sintra's municipal holiday, for Grow Tennis Academy Sintra and on Lisbon’s municipal holiday, for Grow Tennis Academy Lisbon.

Whenever weather conditions do not allow classes to be held on the outdoor courts, two situations may occur:

. The class will be held in the indoor rooms made available for this purpose, whenever these are available by the Hotel Vila Galé Sintra, for students that attend Grow Tennis Academy Sintra;

.At indoor tennis court, when available, for Grow Tennis Academy Lisbon students;

. The student may attend the class on another day, in an equivalent class, upon confirmation with the Grow Tennis Academy team of the respective availability.

Class Compensation

Compensation for classes not attended by the student, due to personal reasons of the student and unrelated to the Grow Tennis Academy, can be carried out in an equivalent class, upon confirmation with the Grow Tennis Academy team of the availability.

Although tennis is an individual sport, the Grow Tennis Academy promotes team spirit and as such, activities will have to be carried out with the academy's official equipment, and a student's participation may be prevented due to their lack of part or in its entirety. The equipment is included in the enrolment fee.

Membership in the Portuguese Tennis Federation

The academy is responsible for enrolling each student. The amount to be paid is borne by the student and its included in the enrolment fee.
